Former Amazon Employee

Christian was one of numerous frontline workers employed by companies that made enormous profits during the pandemic while failing to provide employees with basic protections. He was fired after staging a walkout at the Amazon warehouse he worked in on Staten Island. Now he collaborates with other frontline employees to ask their employers to respond to the unsafe conditions in their workplaces. Requests include personal protective gear, healthcare benefits, paid leave, and hazard pay.

The protest has been building up to this day, International Workers Day.
