Temporary Mist Installation for “Contact 3017: Hawaiʻi in 1,000 Years” at the Honolulu Museum of Art

The Earth is thirsty and has been ravished by our industrial age. It is our responsibility as a civilization to rectify the damage we have done. To do so, we can simply look to the past and learn from practices of the Native Hawaiians.

If we gain a deeper understanding of watershed and water management, we could have hope for a totally regenerated Earth by 3017.

"Edible Landscapes for the Trillenium" is an artistic expression of my optimistic hope that we will become responsible stewards of the Earth so that it has the capability of becoming abundantly productive once again.

Projecting on mist is profound for this exhibit because water and light are the driving forces of all life.
