Some Good News is a 2020 web series created and hosted by the actor and filmmaker John Krasinski. On YouTube, it is “a news show dedicated entirely to good news,” broadcast from his home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Krasinski opened the show by stating, “We are all going through an incredibly trying time, but, through all the anxiety, through all the confusion, all the isolation, and all the Tiger King, somehow the human spirit found a way to break through and blow us all away.” Krasinski also hosted a “virtual prom” for teens who had been unable to attend their own prom because of the pandemic.
