Transcendients: 100 Days of COVID-19
DAY 69: RESTAURANT BOZU
Honolulu, HI
What is your favorite restaurant, the one where you’re most looking forward to finally having a meal?
As we cautiously move into a different phase of the pandemic, restaurants across the country are opening for dining in. Whereas we tell each other it’s been great cooking meals three times a day, eating at home for two or more months, nothing has felt better than once again eating at our favorite restaurants. (Take-out is not the same as freshly made sushi!) Bozu, clearly abiding by regulations, made us feel at ease. They removed many tables; all staff wore masks and gloves (you can see into their kitchen); and there was hand sanitizer at the entrance.
Although we will be eating out much less during this phase, certainly we have a renewed appreciation for the restaurant/hospitality industry!
