Volunteer with Golden Harvest Food Pantry, Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn

Shakeyra, a waitress before the pandemic forced her restaurant to close, began volunteering with Golden Harvest, in Bedford Stuyvesant, out of a desire to get out and help. As a result, she is both helping her community and staving off depression and anxiety.
